The Green Train is gearing up to launch a six week public relations whistle-stop concert tour across the United States for environmental education. American Icon Merle Haggard and many of his friends from all genres of the music and film industry, athletes, scientists and Eco-organizations will be on board.

Super Bowl XLIII will mark the 16th year that the NFL has incorporated environmental projects into the management of a professional championship event - a claim unrivaled in all of professional sports.
The Environmental Program has never been about building a green image - it has always been about actually addressing environmental impacts cost effectively and - at the same time - looking for ways to leave a permanent environmental legacy in the host community.
Other projects reduced the overall greenhouse gas impact of Super Bowl related events by using renewable energy to power the University of Phoenix Stadium and the NFL Experience, hybrid vehicles were incorporated into the Super Bowl fleet and travel emissions for both teams and NFL staff and officials was offset through a partnership with Expedia travel.
